product description

APRICOT KERNEL BASE OIL

Base oils are used either as the necessary carriers that integrate and dilute the essential oils for use in aromatherapy and cosmetology, or on their own purely for cosmetic care. Thus, it is important that they should be 100% pure, just as all the invaluable Base Oils by “Biologos”. From the kernels of the fruit by the tree with the scientific name Prunus armeniaca, it is produced through cold pressing. Because it is free-flowing it can be quickly absorbed by the skin.

Carrier oil, also known as base oil or vegetable oil, is used to dilute essential oils and absolutes before they are applied to the skin in massage and aromatherapy.

They are so named because they carry the essential oil onto the skin. Diluting essential oils is a critical safety practice when using essential oils. Essential oils alone are volatile; they begin to dissipate as soon as they are applied. The rate of dispersion will vary based on how light or heavy the carrier oil is.

Carrier oils do not contain a concentrated aroma, unlike essential oils, though some, such as olive, have a mild distinctive smell. Neither do they evaporate like essential oils, which are more volatile.

The carrier oils used should be as natural and unadulterated as possible.

Cold-pressing and maceration are the two main methods of producing carrier oils. There is a range of different carrier oils, each with a various therapeutic properties.

Choosing an oil will depend on the area and the reason for being used.

Carrier oils can be used also as they are, without essential oils.

Carrier oils are a vital component in many skincare and beauty products.

These oils provide numerous benefits for the skin and can be used in a variety of ways.

Here's a quick guide on how to use carrier oils and why they are beneficial:

How to Use Carrier Oils:

1.Start by selecting a carrier oil that suits your skin type and the desired effect you want to achieve.

2.Use the dropper to measure out a few drops of the carrier oil into the palm of your hand. Gently rub your hands together to warm up the oil.

3.Apply the oil to your face, body, or hair, using gentle circular motions.

4.You can also mix the carrier oil with essential oils or other ingredients to create your own custom blend.
