BERGAMOT – THE PLANT

Scientific name: Citrus Bergamia. Description: Small tree of the citrus family. Origins: Asia, while today it is produced mostly in the south of Italy and France. History: Known in Europe since the 16th century, with references to its aromatic and regenerative use. Its name originates from the Turkish word ”begarmudu”, translated as ”the prince’s pear”.

Technique: Extracted from the unprocessed peel of the fruit through cold pressing. Scent: Fresh, fruity, mild, and colour yellowish to green-brown. Country: Italy.

COMBINATIONS

With essential oils of Lemon, Lavender, Cypress, Geranium, Cedar, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine, Sandalwood.

ATTENTION.

No exposure to sunshine after use. Danger of photosensitive reaction. Prohibited during pregnancy.

Safe Use of Essential Oils

Essential oils should be stored tightly closed in the storage container as they evaporate easily.

CAUTION: keep essential oils AWAY FROM CHILDREN.
